We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2021, at the age of 102, Mary June Booker Burnett of Wynne, Arkansas, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse Isom and Elta Seivert Booker; her husband Roland; her brothers, Max Seivert "Buddy" Booker and George W. Booker; her children, Anne Burnett Darnaby of Little Rock, Dr. Charles R. Burnett, Jr. (Susan) of Germantown, Tenn., Nancy Booker Burnett of Tulsa and Robert Isom Burnett (Vicki) of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Kathleen Burnett Ligon of Austin, Texas, Charles R. Burnett, III of Memphis, Tenn, Matthew A. Burnett of Memphis, Tenn, John W. Burnett of Austin, Jesse B. Burnett and James R. Burnett of Little Rock; and her great grandchildren, Virginia, Lillian and June Ligon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Wynne First United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
