She was predeceased by: her parents, David Claude Rhodes and Lily Viola Smith Rhodes; her husband Billy George Rooks; and her brothers, Durward, Willie Hoyt and W. C. Rhodes (Billy Rooks).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hills of LaGrande, Joan E. Shaw (Kenny) of Jefferson City, Lori Johnson (Lawrence) of Nordland and Mark Rooks (Deanna) of Knoxville; her grandchildren, Clayton Scott Hills, Stacey Rynearson, Jeremy Hills, Jennifer Goodman, Tate Shaw, Samantha Spencer, Erik Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Emily Kuhn, Christa Peluso and Cole Rooks; and her nieces and nephews, Jerry Brewster, Joey Rooks, David, Ken, Mike Rhodes, Phyllis Calvert, Linda Oldham, Kim Milburn and Carolyn Presley. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Vanndale Cemetery, St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, or World Vision.
