He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Harold and Eloise Ruby Smith; and his brother Mike Smith. He is survived by: his wife Delores Gladden Smith; his children, Wesley Lynn Smith (LaDonna), Mandy Richardson and Jennifer White; his sisters, Pat Fraley (LA), Brenda Slack and Kathy McClure (Marty); and his grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Tyler Smith, Austin White, Brooklyn White, Jimmer Smith, Nikki Johnson, Madilynn Johnson and Kenadi Raines. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
