She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Tippitt and Myrtle Tippitt (James); her husband James Carlos Wood; her son Michael Allen Wood; and her brothers, Edward Tippitt, Winford Tippitt, Richard "Buddy" Tippitt, William Tippitt and Roy Tippitt.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Michelle Beith (Bobby), Kimberly Joy Beith (Bobby S.) and James Carlos Wood Jr. (Linda); her grandchildren, Bryan Wood, Amber Wood, Joshua Johnson, Brandon Wood (Katie), Tyler Beith and Fallon Gail Willis; her great grandchildren, Mallard, Mason and Madison; and her sisters, Martha Munnerlyn, Wanda Campbell, Dorothy Fisher, Patricia Franklin and Brenda Armstrong.
