He is survived by: his wife Cathy Goode Gary; his children, Charles William (Chas), Donna Taylor Gary, Shawn Mitchell and Beverly Davidson Gary; his sister Susie Gary Draper Lowe; his grandchildren, Gavin Mitchell Gary, Gunner Tucker Gary and Asher Lee Marshall; his cousins, Lydia Gary Duke, Loretta Lewers Thornton and Jenifer Lewers Bashaw; his nieces, Katy Lynn Draper Garber (John) and Allison Draper Gant (Eddie); his nephew Joseph Collins Draper, III (Sharon); his great-niece Olivia Gant Miller (Rickey); and his nephews, Edmund Ravenel Gant, III and Joseph Gray Garber.
