He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Michelle Fontenot of Europe, Kristie Fontenot (Brandon Cummings) of Prairie Grove, Jonisa Isola (Brent) of Wolf Lake, Jennifer Bryant (Billy) of Greenland, Jessica Palmer (Holly Shepherd) of Mountainburg, Madison Fontenot of Conway, Arkansas, Richard Devick (Laura) of Iowa, Robin Devick (Christy) of Fayetteville and Joshua Palmer of Menahga, Minnesota; and his brother Keith Fontenot. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
