He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Isaac and Allie Goff Caudle; his wife Wildene Phillips Caudle; his grandson Robert Mitchell; and his siblings, John A., Hugh E., Fred B. Caudle and Winsome Christenson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Mitchell and Dan Caudle (Hazel); his grandchildren, Willie Mitchell (Shelley), Joe Mitchell, Ken Caudle (Meredith) and Janet Caudle; and his siblings, Larry Caudle, Vivian Winn, Anna Weddington, Christine Brown, Harriet Mosteller, Sue Hammons (Preston) and Donna Good. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
