She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Pickering and Buelah Mae Greer Pickering; her husband Kenneth C. DeBoard; and her siblings, John Taylor (Buddie), Beth, Vera and Ruth.

She is survived by: her children, Joe McCurley, Otis DeBoard, Alyina Kay Bemis, Kathleen J. Tate and Vera M. DeBoard. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
