He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Daugherty Warner; his sister Jane Warner Atkins; and his grandchildren, Taylor Warner and Erin Warner Ledbetter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne Hemphill Ederington; his children, William Richard "Rick" Warner, III (Phyllis) and Kathy Murphy; his stepdaughters, Lou Anne Anderson (District Judge Bruce), Warren, Ark, Mary Lynn Richardson and Erie Colorado; his grandchildren, Adam Warner, Patrick Murphy, Celia McGilvray (Drew), Little Rock, Jase Richardson and Aaron Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Warner Ledbetter, Vance Warner and Murphy McGilvray.
