He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Jackson Deal and Mary Holland Deal; his wife Marjorie Cole Deal; his sisters, Frances Deal Cleveland and Joann Phillips; his sons, John and Jessie Deal; and his grandchild Lindsey Denton-Watson.
He is survived by: his sister Jean Kilcrease of Crossett; his children, Dana Denton (Curt) of Warren, Denise Cuthbertson (Robert) of Warren and Mark C. Deal of Pine Bluff; his grandchildren, Chase Denton of Alexander, John Denton (Dana) of Grand Island, NE and Dennen Cuthbertson; and his great grandchildren, Cole Denton of Alexander, Lydia, Clark Denton of Grand Island, NE, Baylor and Presleigh Watson of Stuttgart. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bradley County Veterans Museum, 210 N Main St. Warren, AR 71671.
