He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Smith and Nancy Forrest Smith; his wife Bessie Mann Smith; and his sons, Lamar Smith, Danny Smith and James Odie Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Jane Smith; his siblings, Emer Smith, Curtis Smith, Lincoln Smith, Dempsey Smith, Allie Montgomery and Zadie Kitchens; his sons, Allen Smith (Debbie) of Rowell, AR and Doyle Wayne Smith (Sheila); and his brother Jaker Smith of Banks, AR.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great- grandchildren and 7 Great-great grandchildren.
