Mildred Waller Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Virginia Waller was born on Friday, December 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Rufus and Sylvia Howard Cooper. Mrs. Waller died Saturday, December 31, 2005, at the family residence in Trumann, Ark., at the age of 84. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann.. She was a retired factory and café worker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Waller was preceded in death by her husband, William Monroe "Bill" Waller in 1991; one son, Bobby Lee Purcell in 1973; one daughter, Nancy Louise Purcell Thompson in 1965; two sisters and her parents. Survivors include two sisters, Wanda Lee Warden of Tunica, Miss., and Cliffia Rutherford of Bay; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner, Ark., with Rev. Leon Minick officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
