He was predeceased by: his stepsiblings, Darrell Higgins, Jerald Higgins, Max Higgins and Charlene Jones; his stepmother Inez Greenway McKinney; and his parents, George Daniel and Imogene Higgins McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hodges McKinney; his children, Kelly Harrell (Robert) of Cabot, AR, Julia Goff (Jerry) of Trumann and Christopher McKinney of Trumann; his stepsiblings, Hattie Higgins Emery (Joe) of Paragould, AR and Hoyt Higgins (Lesta) of Taylorsville, KY; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Sutton (David) of Little Rock, AR, Reed Harrell of Searcy, AR, Trey Goff of Trumann, AR, Ainslee McKinney of Memphis, TN, Jacie Goff of Trumann, AR and Jaxson Goff of Trumann, AR..
