She was predeceased by: her husband D. C. LaFarlett; her daughter Betty Haynie; her parents, George Allen and Bessie Pauline; and her brother Cagle.
She is survived by: her children, Joann Taverna (Angelo) of Memphis, James D. Swain of Trumann and Billy Swain (Patricia) of Trumann. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
