It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eloise Barnes of Trumann, Arkansas, born in Collinston, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Godfrey Eley and Ella Eley; her husbands, Buel Barnes and Kenneth Barnes; her son Edward Barnes; and her brother Chancy "Bud" Wayne Eley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Katheryn Barnes and Teresa Martin of Trumann, Arkansas; her stepchildren, Ronny Barnes of Houston, Terry Barnes (Tommie) of Lumberton, Texas and Laura Rocha Vaz of Hanford, California; and her sister Maudia Dayton. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
