With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danell Wood of Trumann, Arkansas, born in Caruthersville, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Taylor and Pearlee Russell Taylor; her daughter Cherie Renee Wood Jones; and her siblings, Dortha "Dot" Taylor, Earl "Bittie" Taylor and James "Shorty" Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband George Wood; her granddaughters, Skylar Jones of Jonesboro and Erica Jones-Straver of Trumann; her great grandchildren, Ian Straver and Aurora Straver; and her sisters, Delois Moore of Lucas, KY, Sue Sloan of Pevely, MO and Carolyn Hall of Woodson Terrace, MO..
