He was predeceased by: his father Bob; his wife Thelma Lee Hayes Richey; his grandson Burtton Corbin; and his brothers, Dallas Richey and Jerry Richey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Corbin (Burt) and Sherri Lowery (James); his grandchildren, Courtney Watkins (Tyler), Autumn Corbin and Aaron Lowery; his great grandchildren, Maddox Watkins, Reed Watkins and Harrison Watkins; and his siblings, Lou Carner, Janette Richey, Clifton Richey, Larry Richey and Ronnie Richey.
