It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Aubrey Travis of Trumann, Arkansas, born in Strawberry, Arkansas, who passed away on November 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather Theo Austin Sr.; his mother Florine Austin (Wilson); and his brother Theo Austin, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister Mary Helen Cole (Dennis Cole) of Wasilla, Alaska; and his sister-in-law Shelia Austin of Trumann. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, along with all of their children.
A celebration of life will be scheduled later, after the COVID-19 pandemic has ceased.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Arkansas State Troopers.
