He was predeceased by: his parents, Gee Owens and Maegirtha Dailey Owens; his son Ronald Owens; and his siblings, Carl F. Owens, Alfred G. Owens and Dorethia Newburn.
He is survived by: his children, Gwen Owens of Atlanta, GA, Tim Owens (Mechille) of Little Rock, AR, Donna Milton (Richard) of Crossett, AR, Bryan Green (LaShowndra) of Detroit, MI, Kirk Owens (Carolyn) of Arkadelphia and Joshua "Josh" Newburn of ARkadelphia; his siblings, Carlton U. Owens of Warren, AR, Geneva Owens Hunter (Warren) of Gum Springs, AR, Darlene Owens Jones (Thomas) of Gurdon, AR and Marilyn Fern Owens of Sherwood, AR; his sister-in-law Lillie Owens of Jacksonville, AR; his aunts, Margaret Temple of Little Rock, AR and Daisy Dailey of Kansas City, MO.; his nephew Greg Owens; his cousin Charlie James Owens; and his close friend Ray Wrather. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and many, many friends.
