He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt McDowell and Lucille Robbins McDowell. He is survived by: his sibling Rivers Health; his wife Dorothy McDowell; his children, Robert McDowell (Sandy), Rebecca Greenwood (Joe Don) and Bill McDowell (Mary); and his brother Fred McDowell (Patsy) of Altona, IL.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
