He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Grimmett and Draper Grimmett; his children, Michael Grimmett (Melinda), Ronnie Lynn Pasley, Rickey Glenn Pasley (Dana), Anita Dunn (James Edward) and Dayna Lawson (Michael); his siblings, Jerry Grimmett (Olita), Ray Grimmett (Bonnie) and JoAnna Peters (Hershel); his grandchildren, John Michael Grimmett, James Wade Upchurch, Jeremiah Wayne Upchurch, Amber Nucole Dunn, Shyann Lawson, Mikah Lawson, Tasha Rigsby, Reeca Pasley and Recce Pasley; his great grandchildren, Holly Stinnett, James Stinnett, Grace Upchurch, Dathan Spencer, Jayde Benson, Westyn Ferren, Hunter Upchurch, Ty Upchurch Hayden Elizabeth, Blake Rigsby, Austin Rigsby, Addi Rigsby, Reonna Pasley and Bra Pasley; his spouse Arkie Grimmett; and his siblings, A. D. Grimmett and Noraalice Whitacker. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
