She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Irene Walters Smith and Carl Clifton Smith; her siblings, Bernice Smith Daeke, Carl Smith, Mayalene Smith Barron and Marlin Smith; and her granddaughter Jeanne Marie Pruitt.
She is survived by: her sons, John Robert Pruitt, Jr. (Carole) of Spring City, TN and Edward Carl Pruitt (Lynne) of Searcy, AR; and her grandchildren, John Robert Pruitt, III of Spring City, TN, Teresa Pruitt of Garfield, AR, Tina Pruitt Osburn (Ross) of Cabot, AR, Anna Paige Pruitt Francis (Michael) of Memphis, TN, Lisa Rogers Butler (Ron) of Olive Branch, MS, Beth Rogers Qualls and Mark (Searcy). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
