He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Carroll Elmore; his parents, Gentry Elmore and Pauline Elmore; his brother Amon Roe; his brother-in-law Bob Doty; his wife Ena Elmore; his sister Alice Doty; his children, Bill Elmore and Christine Harrell; his children-in-law, Tim Harrell and Laurie Elmore; and his grandchildren, Stacey, Hayleigh, Ena Catherine, Logan and Miles.
