He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gowan and Ada Gowan; his son Brandon Gowan; and his siblings, Ada Humphrey and Bobby Gowan.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Gowan; his siblings, Larry Gowan and Kay Jones; his children, Jeff Gowan, Thomas Gowan (Gia), Amy McGlothlin (Kevin) and Ann Davis; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Chance, Crystal, Heather, Andrea, Clayton, Jackson and Abbie. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and many other friends.
