He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Chester "Shorty" and Hazel Laverne Sanders (Bray); his siblings, Noel Chester Sanders, Jr. and Nora Fay; his brothers-in-law, Leon Jones and Boyd Ray Hall; his grandparents, Jake, Maggie Sanders, Joseph and Artie Bray; his nephew Desi Jones; his great-niece Marissa Crow; and his parents-in-law, William "Bill" and June Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sanders (Williams); his children, Whitney Bartley (Joseph) and Cody Sanders (Annie); his grandchildren, Cameron and Caelyn Bartley; his sisters, Wanda Jean Hall and Shelia Kay Auten (Frankie); and his parents-in-law, Garry, Janice Williams, Robert and Rebecca Lash. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
