She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Hershel and Ella Rodessa McAlpin; her husbands, J. C. Carter and Erie Crouch; her daughter Johnnie Kay Carter; and her siblings, Inez Banard, Charlene, Hershel, Herbert and J. W. McAlpin.
She is survived by: her son Rodney; her daughter-in-law Jo Carter of Atkins; her daughter Gail; her son-in-law David Anthes of Russellville; her sister Peggy Geren of Barling; her nieces and nephews, Lyndel Crouch (Judy) of Russellville, Barbara Nevin (Carl) of Ft. Smith and Pam Curry (George) of London; and her grandchildren, Jeff Carter (Alyssa) of Russellville, Yanci Walker of Russellville, Peter Carter (Shannon) of Sapulpa, Carter Walker (Leigh) of Conway, Michelle Erwin (Micah) of Elgin and Jonathan Anthes (Jason Gover) of Brooklyn Park, Maryland. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
