It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Barton of Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Barton and Nancy Rains Barton. He is survived by: his wife Marie Barton; his children, Mitchell Barton (Shauna) of Lamar, Amanda Williams (Jeff) of Russellville and Rose Counts (Andy) of Hot Springs; his brother Gerald Purser (Sandy) of Ola; and his stepparents, William Cochran of Perryville and Jo Barton of Russellville. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
