He was predeceased by: his parents, Modean Jr. and Paul Claypool Jr.; his siblings, Paul Dean Claypool, Lorine Capiliener and Patsy Shenefield; and his nephews, Christopher Claypool and Gordon Gary Bryan.
He is survived by: his wife Patty of Royal; his children, Paul Edward, Victoria Claypool and Lindsey Claypool; and his siblings, Shirley Rudder of Lonoke, Ernestine Byrne (Steve) of Little Rock, Violet Bryan (Gordon) and Allen Claypool (June) of Bryant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
