He is survived by: his children, Vickie Westwood of Ravenden, Etta Longfellow of Engleberg, Ronald Franklin of Portia and David Franklin of Idaho; and his siblings, Dorris Fay Smith of Imboden and Ronnie Lee Smith of Imboden. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
