He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Griffin and Dora Griffin; his wife Ruth Smith Griffin; and his brothers, Robert Pritchard and Warren Griffin.
He is survived by: his former wife Wilma Ruth Smith; his children, Lynn Griffin (Mary) of Ravenden and Kathy Cooper (late Mike Cooper) of Ravenden Springs; and his siblings, Carlos Griffin of Branson, Missouri and Nina Griffin Hardin of Branson, Missouri. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five and a half great-great-grandchildren.
