With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oleta Nelson (Prescott, Arkansas), who passed away on March 9, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Nelson; her siblings, Jesse Barlow, Donald Barlow and Julia Faye Nelson; and her grandchildren, Timothy Keith and Sonya Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, James Kerry Nelson (Kay Cox) of Bluff City, Tony H. Nelson (Sharon McKinnon) of Mt. Moriah, Frank L. Nelson (Karla Gauggel) of Boyd, TX, Joseph C. Nelson (Debra Robley) of Nashville, TN, Perry J. Nelson of Prescott and Phyllis Aleta Haynes (Mike Haynes) of Texarkana, AR.; and her grandchildren, James Vincent, Andrew Patrick, Tonya Christine, Michael Drew, Wendy Marie, Tracie Michelle, Donna Ann, Jody Ray, Quincy Joe and Quentin Jack. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
