He was predeceased by: his father Fred Gussberry; his wife Betty Gussberry; his son John Charles Gussberry; and his siblings, Louise Boyer and Wayne Gussberry.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Gussberry of Harrisburg; and his sister Katheryn Hopper (Charles) of Pope. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
