He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jacob Smith and Reida Mae Searfoss Smith; and his siblings, Carol Biby, Mike Smith and Pat Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Zachary, Jacob, Lucas and Samuel Smith of Pocahontas; and his siblings, Dennis Smith of Decatur, IL, Tim Collins (Wanda) of Sidney, David Smith (Kelly) of Jonesboro and Jeannie Jansen (Jeff) of Sidney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
