He is survived by: his grandfather Alex; his close friend Brittany Wilkerson; his father Richard Gay Michele Gordon; his stepparents, Brenda Gay and Jeff Thielmann; his grandmother Mary Ann Gordon; his sister Lindsay Chambers (Jeremy Chambers); his stepsiblings, Kylie, Mackenzie Thielmann, Danny Chavez, Andrea and Amy Saldana; his nieces, Shiloh and Harlow Chambers; and his cousins, Jonathan Martin, Lauren McNair and Megan Ogden.
Most recently, while looking for a more impactful opportunity, Alex joined the front lines of our world's battle with COVID-19 by working at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. For many months, he devoted himself to caring for patients in the COVID ward.
