It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Childress of Perryville, Arkansas, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferrell Allison and Addie Mae Allison (Ussery); and her brothers, Merrell and Darrell. She is survived by: her daughters, Jennie Jones, Judy Weiss, Jean Fitzwater and Jan Sloss; her grandchildren, Jenneal Welch (Pat), Tim Jones, Julie Morgan (Jeff), Janie West (Michael), Russell Weiss (Suzanna), Donnie Weiss, Jeannie Hill (Kelly), Leslie Harden, Kimberlee Carden (Brad), Lance Fitzwater (Rachael) and Jim Sloss; and her son-in-law Gus Jones. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Ragsdale Cemetery and the First Baptist Church of Perryville.
