He is survived by: his siblings, Steven Howard and Allison; his great-nephew Trae Grant (Sara); his niece Virginia Grant; his aunt Fayrene Kieffner; his cousin Jim Howard; and his close friend Jeanina Smith. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
