It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Linn Peterson-Crain of Ozark, Arkansas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Joe Peterson and Hazel Mae; and her stepfather Ashton Ray Olano. She is survived by: her friend Austin; her great-nephews, Ian and Ayden; her sisters, Jennifer Jo Shaffer (Jack) of Ozark, Arkansas, Lisa Ann Hampshire (Charles) of Frisco, Texas and Sherry Susan Hall (David) of Frisco, Texas.; her nieces and nephews, Jacey Jo Cooper (Jason) of Alma, Arkansas, Kinsey Eliot (Don) of The Colony, Texas, Jake Shaffer of Alexander, Arkansas, Wesley Turner (Carly) of Pearland, Texas, Mason Turner (Carrie) of Houston, Texas and Coby Turner (Molli Samuels) of Keller, Texas.; her great-nieces, Avery Jo Cooper of Alma Arkansas, Harper Turner of Pearland, Texas, Henley Schmalz Turner of Kansas City, Kansas, Kiely Turner of Houston, Texas and Ashton McDonald (Julio) of Houston, Texas.; and also Joanne Acord. She is also survived by her family and friends.
