It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Griffin of Osceola, Arkansas, born in Moundville, Alabama, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dewey and Annie Lou Griffin; his wife Martha Griffin; his son Charles Wade Griffin; and his siblings, Cecil Griffin, Edison Griffin, Ruth Loftus, Francis Goodwin, Doris Cook, Lavola Mashburn, Doria O'Kane, Zola Johnson and Nola Nalley.
He is survived by: his close friend Jenny Barker of Osceola; his children, Billy Griffin (Lorrie) of Osceola, Marsha Moore (Steve) of Osceola, Lisa Slaughter (Dennis) of Osceola, April Horton of Bartlett, TN and Rosemary Sullivan (Sean) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Chris Griffin (Brandi) of Marion, AR, Chad Griffin (Niki) of Osceola, Michael Griffin (Jessica) of Osceola, Chase Slaughter (Lindsey) of Osceola, Charles Porter (Brittany) of Bono, AR, Melissa Moore of Osceola, Paige Horton of Bartlett, TN, Katlyn Hopper of San Diego, CA and Cameron Hopper of San Diego, CA; and his sisters, Betty Chase of Brookland, AR and Lucille Owens of Benton, AR.. He is also survived by great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
