It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Long of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Mitts and Ida Mae Lewellyn Mitts of Swifton; her son Patrick; and her sisters, Jewell Scoggin, Wanda Layton, Ollie Templeton and Marsha Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Jessie Thomas "Tom" Long; her son Kevin Thomas Long of Springdale, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Jazzmine Baney (Steven) of Ft. Lee, Mason Long of Newport and Emily Long of Grubbs; and her great grandchildren, Kambree of Ft. Lee, Virginia, Khaleesi of Ft. Lee, Virginia and Leland Shaun Baney of Ft. Lee, Virginia. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and a lifetime of friends.
