Though Marvin Dean may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marvin Dean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Abernathy (Mutt) and Lillian Abernathy; and his brother Tommy Abernathy. He is survived by: his daughters, Leah Abernathy and Deanna Abernathy of Searcy; his grandsons, Josh Reid of Searcy and Landon Cook of California; his brother Danny Abernathy of Newport; and his close friends, Steve Templeton and Don Giffin, Sr..
