With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Dunham of Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy Dunham to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dunham and Bessie Dunham (Ivie); his wife Georgia Dunham (Hancock); his son Jimmy Dewayne Dunham; his son-in-law Rodney Wilson; and his siblings, Willard, Ruth Green and Fannie Lee Ivie.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Wilson (Dunham) of Newport; his grandson David Wilson (Suzanne) of Velvet Ridge; his great grandchildren, Hayden Huey, Addison Huey, Sonny Wilson, Eric Wilson and Harmony Glover; and his siblings, Marie Mitchell of Van Buren, Roger (Barbara Phillips) and Sonny (Bettye Gish). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the Dunham family requests donations be made to the Jimmy Dunham fund at Jackson's Funeral Home.
