It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Thompson (Newport, Arkansas), who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Edward Thompson; his stepfather Henry Scott; and his brother Steven Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Dulcie Dunlap Scott (Thompson) of Diaz, Arkansas; his children, Damien Thompson of Newport and Iscis Thompson of Rockford, Illinois; his siblings, John Michael Scott of Diaz, Michael Thompson of Chicago, Illinois, Pansy Hall (Keith) of Kansas City, Jacqueline Scott of Diaz and Candi Thompson of Georgia; his aunt Patricia Burgess of Moline, Illinois; and his close friend Sarah Young of Lexington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
