It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Harp of Newport, Arkansas, born in Strawberry, Arkansas, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Baudie Harp and Ruth L. Harp (Roberts); and his brothers, Junior Harp, Edward Harp and Jerry Harp.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Harp (Beary); his children, Keith Harp (Melodie) of Jonesboro and Melissa Harp of Newport; his grandchildren, Paige Caraway of Clarksville, Kayla Harp of Jonesboro, Craig Harp of Fayetteville, Lexi Harp of Newport and Will Alan Harp of Jonesboro; his great grandchild Zoey Caraway; and his close friends, Jimmy and Merline Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
