She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Franklin and Margie Matilda Westerfield (Wagner); her husband Billy Joe Smith; her grandsons, Danny Solomon, II and Kevin Solomon; her great grandchild Ethan Arron Martin; her siblings, T. C. Westerfield and Billie Jean Smith; and her daughter-in-law Martha Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Joe Smith, Jr. (Sharri) of Newport, Ralph Scott Smith (Kathy) of Newport, Justin Smith (Lori) of Mountain View, Sandra Denese Schultz (Alvin) of Orlando and Jo Ann Mullins (Albert) of Newport; and her sister Velda Gates (Jerry) of Newport. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
