She was predeceased by: her parents, C. R. Fortune and Cressie Fortune (Williams); her husband Kenneth Allen Thaxton, Sr.; and her granddaughter Narcissa Huffman. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Allen Thaxton, Jr. (Billie) of Newport and Lisa Ann Huffman (Rick) of Gypsum, Colorado; her brother Darrell Fortune of Fort Smith; her grandsons, Kenneth Allen Thaxton III (Amy) of Newport, Andrew Thaxton of Fayetteville and John Huffman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her great grandchildren, Jessie Colleen Thaxton, Anna Grace Thaxton and Presley Raye Thaxton.
