He is survived by: his sons, Michael Pounders of Newport and Chris Pounders (Karen) of Maumelle; his sister Diane Adams (David) of Tuckerman; the mother of his children Susan Backus of Benton; his niece Debbie Henderson of England; his cousin Skip Gipson (Teresa) of Little Rock; and his close friends, Tim, Kathy Burzynski of Jacksonport, Roger Bowman (Debbie) of Little Rock and Charles McGuire (Judy) of Newport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and three grandchildren.
