He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhard Meyer and Gretchen Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Ulrike Meyer; his children, Uta Meyer (David) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Gunnar Meyer of Oldenburg and Gerrit Meyer of Bremen, Germany; and his grandson Max Martindale of Little Rock. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
