He was predeceased by: his father William Wesley; his wife Christine Scrimshire; and his brother Bill Scrimshire. He is survived by: his sons, James Scrimshire (Sheila), Wayne Scrimshire, Dale Scrimshire (Kathleen) and David Scrimshire; his grandchildren, Elicia Bergum (Jason), Jimmy Scrimshire (Katie), Gina Avant (Scottie), Jarrod Scrimshire and Hannah Scrimshire; his sister-in-law Wanda Scrimshire; and his nephew William "Little Bill" Scrimshire. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
