He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland James Rowton and Bessie Virginia Hopson Rowton. He is survived by: his spouse Bonnie Lou Hill Rowton; his children, Terry Rowton (Jennifer), David Rowton, Tina Rowton and Lisa Slick (Eddy); his grandchildren, Grace Slick, Clay Slick, Eli Rowton, Sierra Rowton, Ethan Sutton, Shena Sanders and Nathan Sanders; his great grandchildren, Hunter Denton and Axel Sanders; and his brother William Cleo "Cedar" Rowton.
