With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Meeks of Mount Ida, Arkansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Jackson Meeks and Malinda Lorene Meeks (McClain); his son Eugene Meeks; and his sisters, Mary Dardene, Vivian Lampkin and Ernestine Meeks.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Meeks; his siblings, James Meeks, Thomas Meeks and Edna Meeks; his stepson David Mazzella; and his siblings-in-law, Carol and Wally Vertz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
